This guy is harassing women when they walk by . Calling them racists. Because they’re white and hold their bag so it doesn’t flap in the wind. He should be removed from the sidewalk. Every time I pass he calls me racist and makes other bullying comments. Same for other women . Stop the violence against women.

Duane is a gem, and his writing is absolutely top-shelf. He has life experience and insight, and he works hard at his craft. Stop and talk to him, and buy his newspaper.

I’m so happy to see this recognition of my friend Duane! It always brightened my day to stop and chat with him outside the CVS when I lived in Tenleytown, and since I left the neighborhood we’ve continued to keep in touch. Duane is incredibly friendly, intelligent, and driven; anyone who overlooks or underestimates him is missing out. I prefer his newsletters over a lot of other casual reading materials because they’re so engaging, well-written, and informed. It’s apparent how much work he puts into them, and he has no shortage of life experience to incorporate into his stories. Love ya, Duane!
